Listen to what your heart tells you.
This was easier said than done! How?? How do I listen to my heart, gut, intuition, magical insides? The self-curious project is about how I learned my heart’s language. It’s hurts, joys, and glorious quirks.
This process of compassionate self-discovery is informed by my background in architecture, philosophy, social work, hypnotherapy, yoga, archetypal astrology and tarot, This covers the range of how we relate to our home, profession, relationships, creations, and most importantly our sacred purpose by listening to the quiet whispers of our heart.
I am uniquely (some might say weirdly) qualified to accompany you as you redesign your body, home, experience, and purpose.
A philosophical-somatic-hypnotherapeutic [mind-body-soul] approach involves noticing your core values, thoughts, sensations, and feelings (conscious- subconscious) and imagination.
Work with me, a consultant to the self-curious, learn to ride life-changing experiences, and find yourself again: forward and further.

Testimonials
I think that the topics that are covered and the skills that we learn are invaluable in navigating things that everyone will inevitably face at some point in life. Lisa’s teaching brings together elements of mainstream therapy with yoga philosophy and gentle movement that supports and reinforces each week’s theme. In this class, we are able to come together for a powerful mind/body/spirit approach to healing in a very approachable way that will resonate with people of all backgrounds. These sessions are held in a safe and nurturing space, and I appreciate Lisa’s authentic and compassionate approach.

I absolutely recommend this class. Lisa is a caring and dedicated professional. She takes the time to research and prepare for each class. Somatic yoga therapy is something I came across and I was searching for a class like this after a traumatic experience. I feel extremely fortunate for this class to be offered here in Southport. The class experience leaves all of us feeling very calm and relaxed. All of the students regularly attending the class have mentioned this at the end of the class. The environment of the class is accepting, friendly, and caring. The skills we are learning help us to weather the storms of daily life when they occur and help us through healing of past experiences. The yoga session is gentle and students are encouraged to engage in the practice in whatever way they can based on their physical ability. There is no judgement and there is no difficulty, it is stressed that this is your practice based on what serves you.

I have seen results almost immediately. Lisa dealt with my specific issue. It felt very personalized, not a cookie cutter approach.
– L.D. on Hypnotherapy
I have lost about 10 pounds since we met! I have shifted my eating habits and have recently started working out several times a week. I have re-listened to the session 2x and it helps to reset me! Thank you so much!
